    Transform the Workplace through Improvisation

    Four Day Weekend was founded in 1997 in Fort Worth by a group of comedian friends. In addition to weekly improvisational comedy shows every Friday and Saturday night in its Dallas and Fort Worth theaters, the group offers improv courses and workshops for business groups in its training center. Attendees are taught how to apply the principles of improvisation to their professional and personal lives. Through improvisation activities, business groups learn how behaviors can affect creativity, communication, empathy, listening, storytelling and understanding.     Venue Spotlight: Vince Young Steakhouse

    This locally owned and operated steakhouse is a great place to ‘meat.’ The Vince Young Steakhouse, nestled in the heart of downtown Austin, not only offers USDA prime steaks, seafood and house-made desserts, but also boasts unique spaces for group events. The restaurant is housed in a 100-year-old former produce warehouse, which later served as the home featured in the MTV’s The Real World: Austin. The restaurant was opened in 2010 by husband-and-wife partners Phillip and Laura Brown with their close friend—and namesake of the steakhouse—Vince Young. Guests of the steakhouse are greeted by Penny Longhorn II, a life-size sculpture of a Texas longhorn covered in 2,284 uncirculated U.S. pennies.…
