A historic downtown Dallas hotel recently reopened as The Statler, Curio Collection by Hilton following a $255 million redevelopment. The 19-story, mixed-use development property, which originally opened in 1956, was one of Conrad Hilton’s first convention properties. In addition to 159 guest rooms, the development features 219 residences, five unique dining outlets, a rooftop pool and lounge, multiuse fitness center, and 33,000 square feet of meeting and event space, including the 13,154-square-foot Grand Ballroom. “Today is a special day for Curio Collection, as we welcome back a remarkable hotel and industry forerunner to Hilton and the great city of Dallas,” says Mark Nogal, global head, Curio Collection by Hilton. “We look forward to elevating The Statler’s legacy as it adds 159 magnificent guest rooms to our growing collection, to offer travelers and locals alike another magnificent, independent hotel to discover that exudes authenticity.”
